F. Collyer Reed was born into the world by a midwife in a Nevada brothel, child of a prostitute who eventually married a wealthy miner and moved to San Francisco. His formative years were spent in Parochial, Military and British Finishing boarding schools. He was living on the streets at 17 and spent the next ten years in a drug induced haze. His writing became a cathartic process from which he emerged with clarity and biting insight into humanity.
Having survived a life as torrid as his writing F. Collyer Reed currently lives in Marin County California with his wife.
When not working on his next novel / screen play or art projects he can be found biking on Mt. Tamalpais or motorcycle adventure touring.
